Foil Cards

I always like to use foil paper when making Christmas cards. This year I made a few with Gold foil and Copper foil paper.

For this card I used Mossy Meadow for the cardbase and also for the punched out tree in the middle. The centers of the Copper Foil layer and the layer of Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series paper are cut out so the first layer of Very Vanilla paper shows through. Then I popped up a Mossy Meadow Christmas tree in the center and topped it with a Copper Star Designer Element.

Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper is also used in this bridge fold card. The Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder coordinates perfectly with the design in the paper and is pretty on top of the Copper Foil strip across the front. The Pretty Peacock cardbase and ink combine nicely with the Copper Foil snowflakes.

One of my favorite combinations is Gold Foil and Cherry Cobbler. This simple card uses Cherry Cobbler as the cardbase and for the verse. The Gold Foil layer is embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder then wrapped in Gold Edged Very Vanilla Satin ribbon. Scatter a few gold pearls around and it's perfect!
