Daffodil Daydream Bundle

It's probably too early to start dreaming about spring, but this bundle does make me want to get back into my gardens! The Daffodil Daydreams stamp set and Daffodil Dies from the 2022 Jan-June Mini Catalog make beautiful springtime cards. Just look!

This first card is pretty sweet with two little butterflies flying around the bouquet of daffodils.

The bouquet is colored with Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, and the butterflies are Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Balmy Blue.

This card is an example of a happy little accident. I thought the center panel was big enough to evenly cover the cardfront, but nope. So I scooted it towards the top, then stamped the filigree stamp on the bottom to even it out.
Notice the light wash of Balmy Blue ink I made by using a Blending Brush to add color to the center of the Whisper White layer. I also stamped the little splatters around with Crumb Cake ink.

The Polished Dots add a nice touch too.

Now these are DAFFODILS! Look at how those bright yellow blossoms pop against the black layer! The Daffodil Dies makes it simple to build these beautiful flowers.

I thought the black layer needed a little texture, so I ran it through the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
These last two cards were made from half a sheet of one of the beautiful designs in the Daffodil Afternoon 12"x12" DSP pack in the Sale-a-bration catalog.

You can get this beautiful paper FREE by spending $50 or more after January 4.

This horizontal card is pretty simple, but the paper is so pretty it doesn't need much help.

This vertical card uses the the other piece of that beautiful paper.

The Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon is colored with a dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend then wrapped around the center panel before I popped it up.

And the cute little Brush Brass Butterflies add another springtime touch.

  1. Beautiful cards! On the die cut daffodils did you use so saffron and daffodil delight? Your color combination is lovely.

    1. Thank you. Yes, the daffodil are So Saffron and Daffodil Delight. And their stems are Granny Apple Green. It was a really fun card to make.
