Summer Mini Starts today!

Happy May 1st everyone! The sun is shining, grass is turning green and the Summer Mini Catalog starts today. It doesn't get any better than this!

As you can see below, I've been having fun playing with some of the new products from the catalog.
These two bright cards were made using two of my favorite new products. Both are made using one of the great new Triple Layer Punches. These new punches allow you to punch three images in one punch body simply by moving a lever. And the leaves of the flowers on the black background are made with one of the three new emboss powders in the catalog - Wild Wasabi.

These next two cards are stamped using the Fabulous Florets stamp set. The first card uses Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabit and Tangerine Tango ink, layers on white, then mounted onto a Melon Mambo card. For the second card I stamped the leaves from the stamp set twice: once using Wild Wasabi ink onto Whisper White cardstock, the a second time using Versamark onto a second piece of Whisper White. Then I covered that with Wild Wasabi Emboss Powder, heat embossed it, cut it out and adhered it to the card. The poppy is stamped also stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with the new Tangerine Tango Emboss Powder, cut out and tucked under one of the large leaves using a demensional. It's then adhered to Tangerine Tango cardstock for a CAS (clean and simple) look.
And what'a new catalog without a new Embossing Folder? This new folder is called "Flower Garden". Here I've demonstrated two different ways to use it: first, I simply embossed it onto a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock, tied a ribbon around the crease and popped up a birthday greeting (notice the line of pearls under the words), then next I inked the inside the folder with Early Espresso ink, put in the Whisper White cardstock and ran that through to get a really soft look. Gotta love embossing folders!
