Oh, and PPA is 100! Show us your favorite technique this week - anything you enjoy doing, from embossing to masking to water coloring to paper piercing..........the list is endless. Join in the fun - show off your "Magnifique Technique" and be eligible to win a shower of blog candy!

My favorite technique these days is bleaching. For this card I embossed one of the poppies from the "Fabulous Florets" stamp set that's currently in the Summer Mini and has been carried over to the new catalog using gold embossing powder on Cherry Cobbler. Then I used an old blender pen, dipped it in regular household bleach and painted inside the leaves. The bleach actually bleaches out the color of the cardstock. I really like the effect. I mounted the Cherry Cobbler onto Very Vanilla I had stamped 'Thank you' using Cherry Cobbler ink, wrapped a Very Vanilla ribbon tied in a knot around that, then layered that onto a Cherry Cobbler base I had run through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Classy.
