Friday Favorites; Occasions DSP

We made this folded skirt, or drapery fold card at our techniques class in January, and everyone just loved it.  It's usually done with larger size paper, but I found instructions on how to use the 6x6 paper stacks.  I really like how the bright red lips are peeking out from the bottom of the skirt.

Stamps:  Sealed with Love Bundle
Ink:  Real Red Classic Ink
Paper:  Thick and regular Whisper White, Real Red, Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack
Accessories:  Layering Ovals Framelits

Instructions for skirt:

- Cut 6x6 paper in half so you have two pieces of 3x6.
- Score long side at 3 1/4", 3 3/4", 4 3/4" 5 1/8".
- Mark 1/2" down from top right corner.
- Cut diagonally from bottom of first score line to 1/2" mark.
- Fold back and forth, put a little glue under top folds to hold.

Finish and enjoy!

  1. Love it!!! Especially this lips peeking out of the bottom! Thanks for the instructions!

  2. Love this technique and totally need to make another card with it now! The kiss is my favorite part of this card too! :)
