Hanging up my skates

I came across my dear old figure skates the other day and decided the best thing to do with them was to hang them on an old sled for the winter. I learned to skate on the little fish pond in our front yard - around and around and around! It seemed a lot bigger back then, and it always was frozen solid by Thanksgiving. As you can see from the rust on the runners, I haven't skated in years, and unless I can find a pair with double runners, I won't be skating anytime soon!
