This week's PPA Challenge is all about lace. And for me, it all about my mother. As a seamstress, my mother never threw anything away. I have boxes of buttons, lace and zippers - new and old - she used in her sewing projects. She taught me how to sew, knit and crochet and my creativity and love of crafting came from her. I love you mom.

PPA73 - WINNER!
I am very happy to announce that I am one of this week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge winners! The challenge was to create a CAS (clean and simple) card using some type of lace. I made the card below using lace my mother had tucked away in her sewing basket. I knew it was special when I made it.... thanks mom.
