January Stamp Class

This month's stamp class had lots of hearts, pink and red paper, and Hersey Kisses. Plus no heat in the shop the second night, so we moved everything inside the house and worked around the kitchen table. Thanks to the flexible and understanding stampers who first put up with the cold in the shop, then the neurotic dog in the house!

Here's a few of the cards we made:

I love Certainly Celery with Pretty in Pink.  Here we used the hearts from the Adorning Accents Folders from the Occasions Mini on the bottom of the Whisper White top layer.  We wrapped Pretty in Pink ribbon above the hearts, on top of that we stamped the tree from Easy Events, colored it with Cert. Celery and Pretty in Pink, punched pink hearts from the XL Owl punch and scattered them around, then layered a white oval onto a scalloped pink oval with the words in it,

This little card is a great way to use up scraps.  We used the Lovely Letters Alphabet set, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink and Pink Pirouette cardstock and white embossing powder to make this little square card.

This card was a great way to demonstrate the new Framelits Heart Collection.  We made the largest, scalloped heart using Soft Suede cardstock, then folded a piece of white and lined it up so the top of the heart was above the fold, creating a "hinge", the top heart is from Pink Pirouette, then embossed using the Elegant Bouquet folder.  Little pearls are added in the center of the embossed flowers.  "Wonderful You" is from Loving Thoughts and the banner is from Take it to Heart, both from the Occasions Mini.
