February Stamp Class

We used products from the Sale-a-bration Catalog in February's class.  Each project featured merchandise you can get FREE with a $50 purchase.

EVERYDAY ENCHANTMENT DESIGNER PAPER, RIBBON AND BRAD PACK and FRESH VINTAGE STAMP SET  It's hard to see from this photo, but this next project is a little notebook covered with Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper.  Then we stamped one of the stamps from the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set onto Very Vanilla and wrapped ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack around it.  The butterfly and circle are also from the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper, and the brad is part of the  Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack.

ELEMENTARY ELEGANCE STAMP SET  At first I wasn't a fan of this next stamp set, Elementary Elegance, but after I started using it, I love it!  Here we stamped the big background stamp, En Francais, in Crumb Cake onto Very Vanilla, then stamped the frame from Elementary Elegance using Bravo Burgandy onto that.  It needed a little something after that, so we scattered a couple of birds and a butterfly in Bravo Burgandy, wrapped a burgandy ribbon and tied it with Linen Thread.  The center of the frame is punched with the Curly Label Punch and popped up with dimensionals, then layered on the front of a Crumb Cake card base.

TRIPLE TREAT FLOWER STAMP SET   This single stamp is so much fun to use.  Here we stamped it twice with Island Indigo ink onto Island Indigo cardstock, then punched one out using the Fancy Flower punch, and the other with the 5 Petal Punch, and popped onto of each other with dimensionals.  Then we stamped another onto Pear Pizzazz with the same ink, punched out with the 5 petal punch and a 1/2" circle punch, trimmed down the 'leaves' and tucked under the flower.  One stamp did it all!  The words are from Smarty Pants.

OUTLINED OCCASIONS STAMP SET  This card was fun to make using "Thanks" from Outlined Occasions stamped in Pacific Point, colored with Tempting Turquoise and Daffodill markers.  Then we cut out Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point stars using the Stars #2 Die, scattered them onto Tempting Turquoise cardstock using a glue stick so the points stick, then ran that through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder, adhered that to the white cardbase, added a strip of Pacific Point and words punched with the Word Window Punch.

DESIGNER FRAMES EMBOSSING FOLDER  And Finally, this little card is my favorite - you know I like CAS - Clean And Simple.  We used one of the Designer Frames Embossing Folders on Wisteria Wonder, layered onto a small notecard (2"x3") Whisper White.  The oval insert is from Herb Expressions colored with Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder markers then 'huffed' onto Whisper White, punched and popped up.  CAS!

  1. Wow, what beautiful cards! I love what you did with the ribbon on the birthday design. I was just surfing the internet for inspiration and came across your blog. I make cards for our troops stationed across the globe through Operation Write Home and enjoy checking out card maker blogs from time to time.
