April Stamp Class - All Occasion Cards
April's stamp class was called "All Occasion Cards" - I designed the cards, and the stampers made them into whatever occasion they wanted.
Love, Love, LOVE the pink pigs from the Button Buddies stamp set! Stamp them all around, add a pink button nose, and you're done. The butterflies from the Floral Fillers stamp set are really pretty when done with white embossing powder on Rose Red and Rich Razzleberry. It's hard to see in this pic, but the cardfront is embossed using the Elegant Bouquest embossing folder.
This watercolor technique was new to some of the stampers. We used watercolor crayons and colored directly onto the Inspired by Nature stamp, spritzed it with water then stamped onto watercolor paper. Each card was a little different depending on how much crayon was on the stamp and how much water was used.
Here we used products from the Occasion mini catalog. The first card uses Twitterpated DSP and Bordering on Romance stamp set. The second card uses You're My Type stamp set, which is one of my new favorites. The alphabet stamp from the Confetti stamp set is used as the background with a piece of Riding Hood Red run through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.
Another set from the Mini Occasions is used here. The Apothecary Art is first stamped, then cut out using one of the framelits from the new Adorning Accents Label Collection. That's adhered to a piece of Always Artichoke that's been cut with the Adorning Accent Border, then run through the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. A River Rock strip cut with the border is under that then layered on a Naturals Ivory card.

I love all of your cards! Can't wait to try the watercolor technique - didn't know about coloring on the stamp itself! TFS!
