Background Class

Thank you ladies, for a wonderful stamp class last night!  We used background stamps on all our cards, and eventhough they can be a little hard to use, everyone worked hard and made six beautiful cards.  Here they are:

 EN FRANCAIS and PLEASANT POPPIES

This is my favorite (although I say that about each one of them..).  Cardbase is Soft Suede, bottom layer is Blushing Bride.  En Francais stamped with Sahara Sand ink on Very Vanilla, then Pleasant Popplies stamped with Soft Suede Ink and colored with Wild Wasabi and Blushing Bride markers.

 HARDWOOD

Lovely as a Tree can never retire!  This masculine card is made with a Crumb Cake cardbase, Hardwood background stamped with Choc. Chip on Sahara Sand cardstock, Lovely as a Tree colored with Always Artichoke and Choc Chip markers and huffed onto Naturals Ivory.  Add a few embellishments and you have an all occasions masculine card!
 HELLO DOILY

This cute notecard is 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 on Calypso Coral cardbase, Whisper White layer, then Sweet Sorbet DSP.  The doily background is heat embossed using white embossing powder.
 SWALLOWTAIL

I really like gray and yellow lately, so this card is made with a Basic Gray cardbase and So Saffron strip embossed with the Fancy Fan Textured Embossing Folder.  The Swallowtail is stamped with So Saffron on Whisper White.
 WILDFLOWER MEADOW

You can't go wrong with this background stamp!  Here we used a Crisp Cantaloupe background with Baked Brown Sugar layer and Baked Brown Sugar ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.  Yummy!
WOODGRAIN

This cute little bunny is hopping down the rabbit hole!  This card is on a Pink Pirouette cardbase with an Early Espresso layer then Woodgrain with Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.  The bunny is various round, oval and scallop punches.  Love the tiny heart on his butt!
