Thoughts and Prayers

Unfortunately, we all need to have sympathy cards on hand.  So I made this one for our next stamp class.  I uses an old favorite set, Thoughts and Prayers, and features a great masking technique.


First, I cut an oval from a piece of scrap paper to use as the mask.

 Then I used a sponge dauber to spread ink around the oval.  I try to leave some of the white showing to make it look softer.

Take the mask off, and this is what you get!
