Bokeh Technique

I've played with the Bokeh technqiue in the past, so this SSINKspiration Challenge was fun for me.  Bokeh is a background technqiue that blurs the background and brings lights to the front.  You see it a lot during the holidays where the Christmas tree is blurred out but the lights are bright in front.

It's very simple to do.  Simply sponge your paper with several colors of ink.  Here I used Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz and Elegant Eggplant.  Using a stencil made of different size circles, sponge Whisper White Craft Ink on top, moving the stencil around until you get the look you want.  Let dry (don't rush it....Craft Ink takes a while to completely dry) and finish.

Take a few minutes to check out other design team members posts here.

But if you don't want to take the time to make your own background, you can use the Falling In Love DSP from the Occasions catalog!

I layered it onto Gold Foil paper, then onto Very Vanilla and Blushing Bride and added a Gold Foil dragonlfy from the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle in the new Occastions catalog.
