Dots & Spots Glimmer

Look what happens when you run Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party Glimmer paper through the Dots & Spots die then fill in the holes with the opposite color!

It takes a little while to fill in all the littles holes, but it's worth it!

I found the best way to do that was to adhere the glimmer layer to a piece of scrap paper of the same size, dot a little bit of liquid glue into a few holes, then pick up a dot with the Take Your Pick tool and place into the hole. After they were all filled, I adhered that onto the Basic Black cardbase.

A strip of Sweet Sorbet Glimmer paper from the 6"x6" InColor Glimmer pack was added across the center of the card, then I stamped the verse from the Very Best Occasions stamp in Memento Black ink and colored it with light Sweet Sorbet and light Parakeet Party Stampin' Blends.

The Red Rhinestone Jewels finished it off.

For this sparkly card, I cut a smaller piece of Sweet Sorbet glimmer paper and filled those holes with the Parakeet Party circles from the first card, then added strips of Parakeet Party under the top and bottom.

Jingle, Jingle, Jingle stamp set is a fun, two-step stamp set that I thought was perfect for this card.

Santas hat is cut out, colored then sparkled up a bit with Wink of Stella then popped up on top of the letter J.

Fun cards!
