Trees for Sale Christmas Card

We've used the fun Trees for Sale stamp set from the July-Dec Mini catalog and Tree Lots Dies from the Sale-s-bration catalog for some fun non-Christmas cards, but haven't made a Christmas card with it yet. So guess what????

I like rustic Christmas cards, and often use this combination of Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

The first thing I did was cut the Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla cardstock with two different sizes of the Deckled Rectangle dies. Then I sponged the edges of both with Crumb Cake ink to give them a bit of an aged look.

I used Crumb Cake ink and used the splatter stamp around the edges of the Cherry Cobbler cardfront as well as the top 2/3 of the Very Vanilla layer.

The trees are stamped with Old Olive and Garden Green with Cherry Cobbler balls, the greeting is also Cherry Cobbler.

Add some linen thread and it's done. Simple, rustic, just right.
