Brushed Gold Cards and Envelopes

 I am a big fan of Stampin' Up!'s card and envelope packs. Every year I try to include them as part of my Christmas Stamp Camp event, and this year is no exception. The Brush Gold cards and envelopes helped create one of my favorite Christmas cards (so far) this year!

Just look at all the deep, regal colors in this card! Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and lots and lots of Gold.

There are several different stamp sets and dies in this card as well. The greenery and red thingies of the card are made using Golden Greenery dies, the gold frame and leaves are from Unbounded Love dies, the Verse is part of the Greetings of the Season stamp set.

HINT: Instead of trying to adhere thin die cuts with liquid glue, adhere Adhesive Sheets on the back of your paper before you run the dies through your Cut and Emboss machine, then simply peel off the backing and stick them in place. Game changer!

Look closely at the gold fringe that's tucked under the label. I cut the end off a piece of Gold Trim then pulled it apart until it fanned out.
