'Tis the Season'

October's Stamp Class was the ever-popular 'Tis the Season', Holiday cards class. This class is always fun to design projects for because it helps get everyone thinking about the up-coming holidays.
The big orange and black spiders were kiddy rings I found at the Dollar Store. I just cut off the ring part and stuck them on with glue dots. The spiderweb was made by rolling a brayer with black ink across the de-bossed side of the web so the white web stands out. The mummy was made of scraps and white, purple and black - never throw those scraps away!

Stampin' Up! has wonderful fall colors, and these two Thanksgiving cards really show them off. The oak leaves are made by stamping Early Espresso on Cajun Craze then cutting them out, adhering to the card then popping a button with linen thread on them. The pumpkins on the next card are ovals made from Pumpkin Pie (what else?), then sponged with Cajun Craze to really bring some dimension to them. The background of this card is the Square Lattice embossing folder.Gotta have some sparkle for Christmas! This funny penguin is made from a variety of punches, and stands against a sky of Marina Mist and Dazzling Diamonds. The snowflakes in the next card are Bravo Burgandy and Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla, mounted on Bravo Burgandy then onto a Crumb Cake card.

Remember.... TIS THE SEASON!
