June Stamp Class

This month's Stamp Camp featured retiring stamps and a few different tools and technques.

FUN & FAST NOTES has been one of my favorites for a long time. This bird is so simple and cute, and makes a wonderful thank you card. Here, we used Baja Breeze card base and Pear Pizzazz layer and ribbon. The crimper was new to some of the stampers, and they all agreed it adds a great dimension.

HELLO AGAIN! For this card we scattered three of the images around using a great color combination: More Mustard, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White, then ran it through the Square Lattice EF. I revealed one of my secrets and told my stampers one way to save paper is to use the center of your layers for punches - here we punched the scallop oval from the middle of the Cherry Cobbler before adhering all the layers to the base.

PUN FUN - g0tta love this whale! He's happy swimming in an ocean of Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point. The waves are made by punching along the edge of the paper, then run through the Polka Dots EF.

SIMPLY SAID in Tempting Turquoise was a big hit. We used a white gel pen to color the center of the flowers which really made them "pop".

HODGEPODGE HAPPINESS and the Designer Label Punch combined with the Flower Garden EF from the Summer Mini was a quick and easy card. Rose Red and Pink Pirouette on white makes a very pretty combination.

BUG & KISSES and HOPE HAPPENS together make a nice card. Add the bleaching technique to the wings of the dragonflies and you've got a winner! The dragonflies are embossed in black on Old Olive, then the wings are "painted" with bleach which takes out the color. This was everyone's favorite of the day.
