I am really enjoying the great photopolymer stamp set called Wondrous Wreath, from our Holiday Catalog. It obviously makes great Christmas Cards, but why not use it for other seasons?
Here is the first fall-colored card I made. The wreath colors are Hello Honey, Old Olive with Tangelo Twist berries and bow. The Hardwood background stamp is used for the fence with Choc. Chip stamped on Baked Brown Sugar. I didn't want to take away from the pretty wreath with a big sentiment, so I tucked one end of the banner into it.
The cardbase is Soft Sky and the grass is Always Artichoke.
This card is basically the same, except the berries and bow are Cherry Cobbler.
I cut individual boards from the Hardwood stamp and "built" the rustic fence, then added candy dots to the horizontal boards. The grass is a little different too, as I used fringe scissors to trim the top edge.
I'm looking forward to making springtime wreaths with pastels and perhaps a white-washed fence!
