SSINK Technique Challenge - Ink, Twine and Paper

This technique has been all the rage, so I was happy to see this challenge today. We'd love to see your projects using this technique, so please join the fun.

I call this string art, and it's really simple.  Soak a piece of string (I used retired Baker's Twine) in ink from a reinker. Place a piece of Whisper White CS on a page of a phone book,  thick text book or a stack of newsprint and lay the string on the cardstock, making circles and twists so when pulled out it will make an interesting design. Make sure to leave a long piece of string beyond the bottom of the paper and out of the book.  Place another piece of WW on top, close the book, hold down the cover and pull out the string.

Voila!  Both pieces of cardstock will have identical, reversed designs.

I made mine with Blushing Bride ink and cardbase with a layer of Basic Gray cardstock and ink for the verse.

Simple and fun!

Hop over to the Stampin' Stylin' INKspiration blog to see what the rest of the design team created.
