Birthday card catch-up

One of the things I wanted to do when I retired was to be better about making and sending birthday cards on time.  I retired on April 1st.  I missed my sister's birthday on April 15th!  Off to a great start, right? BUT, I did send her a nice "sorry this is late" card this morning!

Today I made a list of the rest of  May and June birthdays and I am happy to say they are all done.  Now all I have to do is get them in the mail on time!

I started by making these two "manly" cards for two car guys.  The Geared Up Garage stamp set and Garage Gears dies were perfect for them.  And yes, that is a purple car that matches our friend's purple Road Runner!

My twin brothers are big fisherman, and eventhough the Best Catch stamp set and Catch of the Day Dies were designed as a Father's Day set, it's easy to change up with a birthday greeting.

I made a lot of this cardfront when I went to OnStage but didn't swap them all.  So I cut a couple down so they would fit on a cardbase and bam! Quick and easy birthday cards.

This flower from the Beautiful Day stamp set is one of my favorite for coloring with Stampin' Blends.  Notice that I added another leaf, then made the flower sparkle by using Winkastella.  So pretty!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!
