Soar Confidently

Airplanes of all shapes and sizes have always been a part of my life. So when I saw this set in the new Mini Catalog, I just had to have it.

For this first card, I stamped the airplanes in Night of Navy then stamped the balloon using Memento Black, once on the Whisper White layer and once on a Whisper White scrap. I colored and cut out the balloon on the scrap then popped it up over the balloon on the card.

The verse is stamped in Real Red adhered to the card so the end is tucked under the balloon.

That layer is mounted onto a Real Red layer then onto the Night of Navy cardbase.

For this simple card I chose a piece from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper that looks like a cloudy sky and adhered it to a piece of Night of Navy then ran it through the Tasteful Textured 3D Embossing Folder.

The verse is stamped in Night of Navy onto Crumb Cake then layered on top of a Basic Gray strip and adhered onto the center of the card.

The airplane is stamped in Night of Navy on Whisper White then cut out and popped up over the verse.

I made this final card like the sample in the catalog, with a couple differences. The primary difference here is the use of Very Vanilla for the balloon and strip.

Soar confidently in your own sky.....I do!
