Techniques Class

Instead of our usual cardmaking class, this month I had a techniques, tool and tips class. These are the cards we made with the techniques we learned.

The Gorgeous Leaves stamp set is perfect for the Baby Wipe technique. Both these cards are made with the same color ink, (So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Calypso Coral), but they look so different on Basic White or Very Vanilla.
You can do a lot with Stampin' Spots. This Rainbow Watercolor technique uses them as a stamp by wiping them across a clear block, spritzing with water then stamping it on a piece of Basic White or watercolor paper. After it dries we stamped more Gorgeous Leaves around using Memento Black ink.

And did you know you can color ribbon? The Black & White ribbon is colored with an Old Olive Stampin' Blend.

The Felted Background technique is so much fun to do. This colorful card was made with a leafy, fall napkin and is perfect to use with the Intricate Leaves Dies.

Once you start making these felted background cards with fancy napkins, you won't stop!

This holiday napkin was just meant to be paired with the Perfect Pumpkins stamp set!

I love sunflowers! So I thought this  bright card would be perfect for practicing how to use Blending Brushes.

Keep those techniques, tips and tools coming!
