Stand Up Fun Fold Gnome

I am having so much fun making fun fold cards. So far I've been able to find some pretty simple techniques, like this stand up card.

The red gingham DSP from the Country Gingham 6x6 pack makes a great background for this card.

And of course the Friendly Gnomes stamp set adds to the fun!

Cardbase: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 2”, 3 ⅛”, 5 ⅜”, 6 ½”

DSP: (2) 1 ¾” x 5 ¼”

(1) 2” x 5 ¼”

Panels: 4” x 3” and 3 ¾” x 2 ¾”

  • Fold cardbase at score lines. Front of card has the bump out on the front.

  • Adhere DSP strips to both sides and center.

  • Stamp mushroom and grass onto Basic White panel.

  • Stamp gnome onto Basic White and cut out with die.

  • Color both using Poppy Paradeor Sweet Sorbet, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate Daffodil Delight and Pale Papaya.

  • Pop gnome up next to mushroom with dimensionals.

  • Stamp verse using Sweet Sorbet.

  • Adhere gnome panel onto red layer and adhere to center of center DSP panel.

Four simple folds is all it takes to keep this card standing.
