Pink wasn't always a requirement of the Hope You Can Cling To challenges, but I tried to use it as much as I could. This first card might show up at our Valentine Card Class! Very simple, but very pretty. The title of this challenge was "Brave Heart", honoring the brave patients and families who fight cancer every day.
Love, love, LOVE this butterfly easel card! "Butterflies of Hope" is this challenge. I was going to use the medium sized butterfly from the butterfly die for the center of this, but found a fabric butterfly that's embroidered with pink thread I've had hanging around my craft room for years, and used that instead. See, those impulse purchases of things you don't have any real use for at the moment, but just have to have, do come in handy eventually!
"It Touches All of Us" - make a pink collage for all those touched by cancer. This quilted card represents all the quilts, blankets and hugs used to help those effected by cancer.
I absolutely love your butterfly card! Is this a Stampin Up die you used to cut it out with?

Hi Patti,
DeleteSo glad you like this card - it's one of my favorites too. I used Stampin Ups Beautiful Butterflies Die for the big butterflies and a purchased fabric butterfly for the smaller one in the center. Thanks! cathy
