From the book

Sometimes it's hard to come up with designs for a particular stamp set.  I use Pinterest a lot...I mean A LOT!  But have you ever thought about using our own Stampin' Up! catalog as inspiration?  I did just that with these two cards.

I never knew exactly what to do with the Six Sided Sampler stamp set, but when I saw the sample card on page 10, I had a TA DA moment!

I copied it exactly, and really like the results.

The Garden in Bloom set on page 119 is so much fun.  I really like the watercolor effect and all the combinations you can make with the variety of stamps.

Because these are photopolymer stamps, they are very flexible so you can bend them to meet your needs.  I bent the stem stamp so it would curve nicely on the card.

As you can see, I changed the colors a little from the card in the book.  I don't have the DSP they used, so I made my own with the Dots for Days background stamp, then added the cute little bumblebee.  Love it!
