SSINK Wedding Card

This SINK post came in handy because I needed to make a wedding card for a wedding we're going to in August.

The colors of the invitation we received were blue, green and silver, so I designed this card with those colors; Night of Navy, Old Olive and Silver.

I used the Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Framelits to make this pretty card.  The roses are colored with Night of Navy and Old Olive Stampin' Blends, and classic Night of Navy and Old Olive inks are used for the background leaves and center verse.

Silver foil paper adds a nice touch as a border and filigree strips. The cardbase is Night of Navy cardstock which nicely sets everything off.

What fun is the inside of a card without a pretty message?  I stamped the cluster of roses and colored the same as those on the front.  The words on the front and in the middle are from Bouquet Bunches.

The rest of the design team members have made more lovely wedding cards to share with you.  Hop over to our blog, SSINKspiration to check them out.

  1. What a beautiful card and the inside is just as pretty as the outside! Love that when you make a handmade card you can match their wedding colors!
