It may look like I'm marinating my daubers, but in fact I'm rinsing the old ink out of them.
Because I am not always good about using just one color per dauber, I thought it would be a good idea to clean them.
I rinsed them several times until the water was clear.
Then I squished them into a paper towel to get the rest of the ink out.
And finally....
I put them onto a cooling rack to dry.
Why take the chance to mix inks and spread the wrong color? Just try to keep things clean the first time!
