Scrappy Strip Technique

I recently saw a video for this technique and had to try it. And now I can't stop!

Just look at these....

So colorful.

So versatile.

So much fun.

So easy!

Once you make one, you won't want to stop!

To make these cards you will need scraps of different colored cardstock (designer series paper will work too) at least 4 1/2" long, two pieces of Whisper White 3 3/4" x 5" and 3 7/8" x  5 1/8", coordinating color cardbase. multipurpose glue, silicone mat.

Cut your scraps into random sized strips at an angle.

Using the multipurpose glue, adhere first strip flush to the left edge of the 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White.

Leave a little space between each color and adhere strips all the way across white piece. By using multipurpose glue, you will have more time to adjust the strip before it dries in place.

Turn your piece over and trim off strip ends, either with scissors or using a paper trimmer. NOTE: if you use a paper trimmer, be prepared to clean off a lot of glue!

Adhere strip piece to 3 7/8" x  5 1/8" piece of Whisper White, then onto cardbase.

Add simple words to the front so the background really shows through.

Done.

Make more!
