Adorable Owls, SAB

At first glance, I didn't really like these owls from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. But then I got to looking at them closer, saw some cards made with them, and changed my mind. I'm so glad I did! Just look at how cute they are!

The design of each card is exactly the same, but the layer of DSP from Dandy Designs on each is different.

This little owl with the big Balmy Blue eyes is sitting on a base of polka dots.

This birthday owl with the Bermuda Bay eyes is ready for his party.

I stamped the image so the tip of the hat would be covered by the ring. Then I stamped the owl again on a piece of scrap paper, colored, cut out the hat and popped it on top of his head so the pompom sits on the rim of the cirle.

And finally, this flying owl with the Pool Party eyes is on his way to his friend's birthday party.

The labels on each card are made by stamping the verse onto Balmy Blue cardstock with Memento Black ink and cut out by hand. Each label is adhered in a different place.

The inside of each card is a little different too.  I like to use the same DSP with a coordinating print to make the inside fun.

Hoot! Hoot! Too cute!
