Something Fancy!

I started off with a simple sympathy card. The trees and mountains from the  Enjoy the Journey DSP make a nice background to go with the simple label and verse.

Notice how I used Vellum for the top label, and wrapped linen thread around the ends for a different touch.

Talk about a simple card! This belated birthday card took about two minutes to make! 

I just love polka dots and stripes together, so I used this combination from the Dandy Designs DSP that you can get as your free Sale-a-bration product.

The pretty paper from the Regency Park 6x6 pack makes such pretty cards.  And tags!

Who knew Balmy Blue and Petal Pink went together so well?

There are two sizes of tag dies, so they layer on top of each other.  And just look at the cut-outs you can use on the top of them!

All of the large labels in the Something Fancy dies come in two or three different sizes so you can easily layer them on top of each other.

There's that striped paper again! 

Funny story with this card... I made this a few weeks ago to feature the Thanks a Bunch stamp set from Sale-a-bration. But today I wanted to use the Happy Birthday stamp and simple die from the Something Fancy bundle, so I pulled out the already-made card and put it on it!

Do you like puzzles? I do! And putting all those hexagonal pieces together was so much fun!
