Jar of Love

Silly me.....I thought this set had retired, so it's been sitting on the retired stamp set shelf for a while. So when I realized it was still current, I had to make something special with it.

This card is so me....sunflowers, gingham, mason jar and blue, blue, blue!

One of the unique things about this stamp set is that some of the stamps are reversible. One side is solid, and the other is another image. Fun!

To make the sunflowers and blue flower really pop, I stamped them a second time, colored them, cut them out and popped them up on top of the ones I already stamped.

I wrapped Linen Thread around the top of the jar then added the tag from the Amazing Year stamp set.

And to add more color and texture to the cardbase, I used Balmy Blue ink and stamped the sunflowers along the edges of the Balmy Blue cardbase.

This will make someone a nice birthday card. Now if I can just remember to mail it!!!
