Forgotten Dies - BASIC BORDERS

 

The next set of dies featured in the Forgotten Dies series is the Basic Borders.

These dies do more than border things!

Making strips with what I call the rick-rack die is a great way to use up paper scraps. 

Line the strips up next to each other and you make a great background for all sorts of cards, especially an Easter card like this.

The cute cows are back in a field made using the curved die for the grass and the half-circles die for the clouds.

This simple notecard uses the lacey die as a white border on the outside....

And a blue border on the inside.

And finally, with a little measuring, the angled dies make pretty envelope flaps using pieces of your favorite DSP.

Who knew there were so many different things you can do with the all the border dies?  I did!
